Defenders...not defending

Idk if its just me, i doubt it, but every game i have played on 2k12 when im on defense my teamates will randomly leave the person their SUPPOSE to be defending, sometimes for a double team i DIDNT call and sometimes just for absolutely no reason ..its getting frustrating now and its cost me my last two games..also all my defensive settings change themselves randomly no matter what i set them too, this is also costing me key runs in games..im trying to figure out how to set it to where i can only manually set defensive settings but cant figure out how...anyone else having problems with these troubles and if so how have you managed to fix it??

Before every game I set double team to never for every player on the opposing team.

I've noticed this too, however it seems to be most often linked to right after I pick "pay attention to stars" or whatever the "stars" defensive/coach setting is. I think it is tied in to that. I suppose if you don't pick anything, the computer may randomize defensive strategies?

I have noticed this as well but after looking at countless replays after its happened its always been a player with low defense awareness and over half the time its been after selecting the "pay attention to stars" option. So maybe its not quite as bad as we initially thought. At least on my end. Players do leave defensive assignments frequently.

make sure you are playing man to man and select defend shooters.

I have the same problem, it doesn't matter what kind of defense i run, my teammates act like they want to purposely screw me over. It's pretty damn annoying. I don't care how bad a defender is or what their defensive awarness rating is, there is absolutely no reason any nba player should just randomly back away from their man for no reason. This needs to be patched.
