DLC hits. 2K spend months of effort and time into producing an additional product for NBA 2k12 which has a HUGE roster of legends then goes and makes the mind boggling choice of not only making the extra content a streetball affair but completely constrains the user/comsumer by not allowing you to take any of the legends into the main game?

Wow. Just wow.

It's enough to make me want to go out and buy an X-box now seeing as most of those cats are now somehow able to get the additional legends into the main game.

I just can't get my head around this. As much as I commend 2K for a fantastic product, and appreciate all the time and effort it must have taken to get legends into the mix, I really have to say they dropped the ball with this DLC. There was already a blacktop mode on the main game - you could have just gave us all those additional legends for our $10 - most, i'm certain, would have been extremely happy with that.

Instead, PS3 users like myself are now faced with DLC containing some of the greatest players the league has ever seen, and not being able to use them other than in playground pick up games.

Pretty stunned right now.

Where did you see this? I thought the new legends are only in the showcase mode.

Unless i've read it wrong, there's some rumblings in the roster section that some people have managed to get the new legends into the game (If on X-box)

2K should have made ALL the legends available on ALL game modes for BOTH consoles.

Sellaz is the user who managed to glitch the new legends onto the main game. Congratulations 2k because Sellaz just single handedly tripled the xbox 360 dlc sales.

Just solidifies my choice not to buy the DLC now. I think it's a damn poor show to release additional content in the form of some of the all time greats and reduce them to playing on the blacktop only. If I want to see streetball, I'll go down to my local court - I wanted this game and the DLC so I could use the legends in the NBA, on authentic courts, playing proper games, not pick up ball in the middle of Times Square.

Don't get me wrong, I love 2k12, it's a damn fine game, but the way they've gone about the whole legends aspect has me really p*ssed.

2K's logic is just mind boggling this year. I don't understand whey would they put legend teams and add 45 new legend players and not give the user to play, edit or do whatever with those players and use them in any mode of the game. Huge Fail.
