2k11 on PS3 - Graphics are really nice

I own MLB 2K11 on XBox 360, but I recently picked up a 2nd TV and a 2nd PS3 for my bedroom...so I wanted to pick up some games to keep up there with it. On Craigslist, I picked up 2k11 for PS3 and was blown away by how much better it looks and plays than the 360 version:

Improvements

• Did not seem to be as much 2d crowd. I have played in 9 or 10 stadiums so far and really, it is nowhere near as noticeable as it is on the 360 version.
• The shadows seem much more crisp in the ps3 version, and not as cracky as the 360 version.

I have NO idea if this was already in the game or what the commentary logic was about, but since Prince Fielder joined the tigers yesterday, I moved him to Detroit on my rosters. I then played a game of Tigers vs Nationals in Detroit, and the announcers were talking about how Prince got a standing ovation in his last game as a Brewer, because the fans new he was leaving.


I was like wtf? I didn't think that had happened in 2010, but it may have, or it may just be genius commentary programming. Either way, it was fun.

I think you are the only person I have ever heard say that a PS3 version of MLB 2K11 has looked better then the 360

Neither looks very good but the ps3 version looks like it was made by a 5 year old

Said it before, I'll say it again: The developers should be embarrassed for their failure to improve upon this product since 2k6. That's just astounding.

I bought 2K11 for PS3 and I did not like the graphics...Ive only seen 360 and PC footage on youtube so I cant say whether its much better or not but from those vids the graphics look smooth...there are too many jaggies on PS3, imo

You can make that 2 people now lol....I've got Mlb 2k for the ps3 every year for 3 years now...I just got my xbox 360 a few months back so this will be the first year I get it for the 360.

I have 2k11 on xbox so cant really comment on the PS3 version but if you have a PS3 and dont have the other game instead of MLB 2k11 then that is truly negligent.
