EA Bonus Course

Does anyone know why this isn't unlocked if you purchase the 11 course pack? The requirements are to unlock unlimited rounds on 12 DLC courses. If you purchase them, shouldn't it unlock the course?

Re: EA Bonus Course

You have to get the full course mastery for a course to unlock unlimited rounds (I believe)

Buying the DLC courses doesn't unlock unlimited rounds automatically. You still have to earn the mastery for those also. It's the same as the Forza DLC cars. Buying the DLC lets you use them in practice modes but you have to "buy" them in the game to use in your career.

Re: EA Bonus Course

Wait...what?

If I pay real money for the extra DLC courses are you saying I cannot use them without buying them with in-game points as well?

Or are you saying once I pay money for them I can use them all I want except to add them to career mode?

Re: EA Bonus Course

It doesn't take long to gain coins, and really if you are even decent at the game, it takes 6 rounds to get gold mastery... I wouldn't waste money on it when in reality it is free this year... Unless you bought the game for a specific course that you can only download, then maybe I would pay money, but having the Season Ticket, I have banked so many coins, I am able to open all courses and play several rounds (earning more coins) therefore after the 6th round playing there, I will have unlocked unlimited rounds for free...

Re: EA Bonus Course

I think you are getting bad info on this. Most indications are that once you pay real money for a course you have unlimited usage of it anywhere. Doesn't answer your original question but a lot of people are getting this wrong.

This is not the case, as others have pointed out elsewhere on the forums.

Re: EA Bonus Course

It should unlock after you download the 11 course pack. It will be in with the other TPC courses.

Re: EA Bonus Course

I can verify that the bonus course, TPC River Highlands (Traveler's Championship IRL) is available once you unlock unlimited rounds on 16 DLC courses (11 if you have the CE). They do NOT need to be gold mastered. It was available right away in the 'Play now' section.
