TEACHING YOU HOW TO STEAL WITHOUT REACHING IN.

now we all have had this happen especially on HOF. we go for the steal and the ref calls a reach in. now if you pay attention closely i am going to help you limit your reach in fouls. i am not gonna eliminate them completely but i will tone them down for you. when you are on defense and are guarding the ballhandler closely. you will see a red pulsating circle in your player icon. when that circle appers is when you want to attempt steals. very important to not reach in unless you see the indicator. just because you have a bead on him using the intense D button dosent mean your at a viable time to reach. only reach when the icon is showing that circle. i try to time the reach when the circle is at the highest point it usually works for me. try this out and see if you dont tone down your fouls. like allways ill post a video when i can any questions guys fell free to ask.

I turn off all player indicators that are turn off-able. Is this something I'll still see? Either way, can you explain when the circle tends to pulsate in terms of positioning against the ball handler? In other words, if I couldn't or didn't want to watch for the pulsating circle, when is a good time to go for the steel? I think I have 1 or 2 on ball steels since this game came out.

I had no idea that pulsating circle was even there, news to me. I saw both of your topics yesterday and was like hmmm, i need to try this out. Got home from work late last night, the girlfriend was already asleep, so I went right for 2k12.

I tell you what, your suggestions definitely opened my eyes to some things. I thought I was already pretty good with the iso motion and the size ups, but I had no idea that I was just scratching the surface. I was getting to the basket at will once I started to use the L stick as you suggested, thanks man. Was never able to get onball steals, now maybe I will.
