Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Old School Sliders

These sliders are for CPU vs CPU with ZERO human involvement. In other words for the game being allowed to play itself.
They are based mostly on Nomo's statistically based sliders, but now I see that Authentics slider experiment looks very similiar to mine.
Anyway, I've now watched a full week of all 30 teams using these sliders. I'm happy with the results, I hope someone can use these.
They are OLD School... Meaning that Nomo set his according to matching the current statistics of the MLB. Somewhat Sabermetric. Think of Nomo as being Theo Epstein's or Jim Barnes theory of Baseball. No problem with that.
My sliders are more along the lines of what a Sparky Anderson or Leo Durocher might have liked. They play the hunches, it's more a matter of feel than statistics. For instance, I want more injuries so that my Minor League system and the Free Agent Pool comes more into play. I want my pitchers to average no more than 15 pitches per inning. That means when they hit 100 pitches, unless they're pitching a No Hitter or a Shutout, they're coming out. And my relievers can pitch three innings if needed.
So what I'm trying to say is that if you like today's theory of Baseball, go with Nomo; But if you yearn for the way Baseball was played back in the 70's, then these are the sliders for you.

Injury Frequency 9 (Injuries happen more often in SIMMED games than CPU'd games. I am only simming Minor League games; ALL my MLB games are viewed out, so injuries must be set higher)

And lastly, I am NOT using the DH in either League. As I said, "Old School Baseball!"
I hope someone enjoys these.
I plan on keeping a blog on how my 30 team franchise evolves. Please follow it as well.
Now, Let's play two!

How many injuries have you seen so far, type and length of injury? I like the Injury Slider to 7 or 8, also.

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Old School Sliders

I only had maybe 3 or 4 total MLB injuries at 6. Only one was of the DL type. That was for all 30 teams.
I'm at 8 now. If I see too many injuries, I'm thinking that 7 will have to be correct. Afterall, I have no where else to go.
