Did 2K ever reveal what the "Today" Association was?

There's an achievement for starting a "Today" association in 2K13. Pretty sure it's just like the MLB2K series where you follow a team's schedule and play games on the real-life dates, but did 2K ever talk about it?

From my understanding, it was the ability to jump into an association (franchise) at any point of the real life season, with all statistics and standings from real life carrying over to your starting point.

They have not explained anything in detail with association whether online or off. Tidbits and bullet points is all.

We will just need to wait til midnight Monday or hopefully some people with the game help shed some light in these areas...

Yea sounds like that is the "Today" feature.

Yes they've talked about this. Don't remember where.

It's basically, if you start an Association on 2 December you will start at that date with your team and the league will have the real NBA stats, injuries, standings, etc., and you continue from there.

perhaps the above is true, but consider this. He is taking all sorts of questions regarding most areas of the game.
Surely he hasn't taken the time to answer that question fully in the interest of being able to field a variety of questions in a short amount of time.

In short, Im not taking his word on that.
