CPU becomes track athletes during fast breaks

srsly wtf 2k? Did you even test your godamn product?

My players can't catch up to the CPU at all. And im on 1 on 2. 1 on 3 situations almost every time i miss a shot.

Even if i take close shots, the half of the cpu team is already down the court when they rebound the ball.

fck you 2k

It's an issue and with the right sliders it will help with the CPU track stars but come on mane, there is no need to talk like that, especially on here.

Re: CPU becomes track athletes during fast breaks

The game actively prevents you from getting back on defense. Watch after a made shot how slow your guys move until the ball is inbounded and once it is you get a slight boost to almost normal speed. You'll stay in your defensive stance or backpeddle up the court even though you're not using the LT instead of turning around and running up the court unless you use the turbo button. Watch on fast breaks as your guys run to a set spot on the floor(even though you're not playing zone) instead of stopping or slowing down the ball, they will run right in front of you as you're trying to get back on defense.

Re: CPU becomes track athletes during fast breaks

There is a speed slider in the slider menus, turn that and hustle down and you should be able to have realistic breaks.

dont play in higher diff or just adjust the attribute sliders accordingly to their real rating. See Jasonwilliams thread understanding slider coefficient.
