You think EA could do a "Year 2" CC patch?

As the NFL playoffs are set, I'm sure most of our teams season is over. With me and my Lions, I would like to be able to keep it realistic and start a new connected career from this point with Detroit having the proper win loss record and draft position.... It's way too hard to try to sim with these results, but I think an option to start in year 2 with current records shouldn't be too difficult

That would be a sweet option, but I've never seen EA provide it. It'd really make the replay value better in the RL NFL off-season.
