Online CCM versus Offline CCM?

Now that EA has had several months to support the game with updates and patches, what are the pros and cons to playing offline and (solo) online CCM?

Online salary cap glitch patched: offline glitch still an issue? How often does it happen?

Are there any differences to what rosters you can use?

Are there any differences to the gameplay, AI or sliders?

I'm very concerned with the salary cap glitch in offline but also worried about playing online with server issues, etc.

I dont understand what the point of online SOLO CCM is...wouldnt you still being playing against the CPU?

Yes, however...

Salary cap glitch doesn't occur, you get to use the online features of CCM mode (website management, etc.)... I know there's more, in fact there was a thread awhile back that convinced me to do mine that way..Sorry, slipping my mind at the moment. Online management was my big thing though, so I can take care of the duller stuff while I'm away and just play when I get home.

I just wish there was some facebook-like mini game you could do or something for practice instead of having to play it.

Big downside however is the fact that a stable connection is needed. A busy household or dorm environment can make you pull your hair out when trying to do online ccm, and the stability of EA's servers are always in question. Could find yourself restarting the same game over and over

It's pretty much the same as offline, same rules apply.. might be an extra one or two, like letting yourself be able to change sliders after you start the ccm, and allowing legends. Gameplay is the same, as it's against CPU there won't be the slight online lag hitch.

But network stability is the big factor I think. If you're not in an ideal environment forget it, and be aware that some days the EA servers just decide to crap out off and on all day.. doesn't happen too often but it does happen.

My offline CCM went belly up because of the salary glitch, so I went to online. I've not had any problems with the EA servers.

The one thing I don't like about online is the autosave. Sometimes you just want to try something out, but you can't contol when the game saves. Plus, you can only have one saved game, so you have to be really careful not to screw something up because there is no going back.
