Is the consistency trait worth 10000XP?

Topic.

And does the consistency trait increase the player's overall rating?

Thanks.

I dunno about overall, but I get it for all of my young guys. Especially WR's and DB's. Makes a difference

Re: Is the consistency trait worth 10000XP?

Yes i think it does. I always get consistency up for my franshice player and player that are gonne be with the team for long.
It makes the hot streak last longer and the cold streak shorter. If im right

Edit: it does nothing for overall.

Re: Is the consistency trait worth 10000XP?

I am under the impression that consistency pretty much voids the hot/cold streaks, am i wrong?

i thought every game you play somewhere in the ballpark of your rating & the higher the consistency, the closer to your actual rating you play. therefore, you would never really go on a cold streak... but could it hurt on hot streaks? i figured players with cons of 4 just play to their actual ratings all the time. I get it for almost all my players @ every position. very important IMO. but I also thought there was a homefield advantage in the game till a few days ago, therefore making higher cons players still play as well on road.

in for answers....

Re: Is the consistency trait worth 10000XP?

After spending crazy XP on this for multiple players to me it's only worthy for offensive players like WR's/TE's. I wouldn't spend point for it on defense. To me on defense just get big hitter, up hit power to the max because forcing fumbles is going to be the only thing that separates your defense from anyone else. That's the reason the majority of people use the 49ers in random online games. The force fumbles and get you extra offensive possessions. They get passed and ran on just like everyone else, they just force a lot more fumbles than other teams. Pretty sad.

I actually just put the trait on ray mcdonald today he was at 0 went to 1 and now he is getting a few more tackles a play and sacks. I think they need there other stats up also like awareness to help out the trait though. I dont know about the hot and cold streaks though.
