Legacy Team Question

How does one pick their favorite team for a Legacy? I would like to play coach Wichita State? How do I do that?

The team does not pop up when I start my coaching career.

Can anyone help?

Wichita state tight not be available in a closed career legacy. If you don't care about it being a closed career legacy, you can just choose them in the open legacy mode.

I've been playing this game non stop for the last few weeks. Such a classic.

The only way that sometimes works to get a team into career legacy is to make them much worse so that they are on the same level as the other career legacy teams. Then bump a couple of the current teams on there up and hope that your team shows up. It's kind of hit or miss.

While true, because Witchita State is in a mid-major conference, they will not appear, and will be the last Career Legacy school to appear if you change their conference to a small conference.

As long as the team rating is 69 or below they will appear in the list, at least that's how I always thought it worked...

It's not a guarantee. I remember I tried to get a team in it once to test it out. I lowered every player to like a 50 overall and I still couldn't get them to show up.

Each team has a hidden prestige rating(this also affects recruiting) the lowest rated teams in both prestige and overall rating will be available. The best way to get a team to appear is to make the teams above them currently better OVR rated. Simply assign or create a player of 80+ OVR and it should raise them significantly(also depending on the team as a whole) to not "wreck" your dynasty, you may choose to make them a red-shirt senior, so they can no longer play after that year.
