Just curious as to what everyone's biggest change in overall rating a gem or bust has caused.

Mine personally was a bust who decreased by 12 overall when I scouted him. I haven't had a gem that has increased by more than 8.

Biggest bust= 10 points

Biggest gem= 8 points

Gem- 16 (Of course going from a 46 to a 62 still doesn't make him a good player)

I had a +9 gem 3-star, went from a 70 to a 79 overall Guard. He was the cornerstone of my 1st recruiting class at Tulane.

Not sure about a bust. Usually if it's more than -5 I just immediately scratch them from my list if they were ranked in the 60s already.

Through 3 offseasons:

Biggest Gem: +9 (twice, both were 70 to 79, same class)
Biggest Bust: -6
