Online Paint spamming

I was doing good defending the paint, but now EVERYONE online is scoring ONLY in the paint EVERY game online...its gotten so ridiculous I just can't take it anymore...I don't know what needs changed but something needs fixed...if I don't shoot 60% I gotta start playing that way too and it just sucks...how is this fun for you all that do this...a race to see who can get the most points in the paint...and if u try and say something then they make it a point to do it more...since 2k started catering to scrubs years ago, they brought in all these jerks...and now when they finally give us a great game, those players are ruining it...

My first suggestion would be to snap a pic of the team stats after the game and post it with your question so we can see the teams used and how many points were actually scored.

A team stats pic doesn't tell us play style but can help.

One thing I would add is to not expect great games in quick match.

It could be you need to improve on defense. The game is still new to me and I know I do.

It's difficult to defend period but you have to make adjustments. Crowd the paint, zone out. If your opponent counters with the 3 man up. Pick the lessor of the 2 evils. If I have a choice of giving up 2 or 3 I'll take 2 everytime.

Ok...I've calmed down now,lol...I was just extremely frustrated at the time as I had my second loss in a row due to paint spamming with new York and if not kick out to carmelo...I just need to find the right balance of defensive adjustment...its there, I just need to tighten it up...my main point is, even when I stop this behavior, it just frustrates me players wanna do this for 24 minutes straight...its not fun to play that eat for me, even if I win...its becoming the norm is all I'm saying...

If people are not paint spamming they are dunking on u they made posterizer the must have signature skill I mean Rudy gay and Paul George are ridiculous with it

Have u tried sagging off players that can't shoot on ball and off ball, especially da big men. 99.9% of people who plays online doesn't (quick match) don't shoot mid range jumpers with bosh, Ibaka, west, haslem, ect. So use those defenders to sag off and play da paint. Also any other perimeter shooters that can't shoot sag off or moderate off ball pressure will keep the from tryn to muscle their way to da paint. I'm telling u defensive settings work this yr!!!! I love playing against da thunder, heat, pacers bcuz every one of those teams they will do da same thing, lebron, Westbrook, George, muscle, muscle, muscle my way to da goal, it's not there, back out muscle, muscle, muscle my way to da goal, dang it's still not there, ok time to start jacking up 3's wit ray, durant, George and granger. I love it bcuz it's an easy day playing those teams! I don't have an online record of 40-4 for nothing!
