It's refreshing to see the media outlets bash Madden. That would have never happened four or five years ago. It's time for EA to be held accountable!

Yeah I posted this in the thread that got closed. It's definitely good to see the media taking notice of Madden's lackluster performance. We have every right to raise our standards and expectations as the tech advances. The game looks like nothing more than what could be do on current gen in motion. Tiburon should be ashamed of themselves for the animations and animation quality in this series. I really hope they turn the corner this next generation, and if they don't I hope the media, as well as the fans hold them accountable. I know it won't happen but, wishful thinking..........

Personally, I hope they continue to have down years and disappoint the consumers on a larger scale. Eventually, the NFL will take notice and realize that their 'exclusive deal' isn't really the best thing for business.

Granted - this is the same league that is trying to switch to flag football.

the mistakes and glitches in Madden 25 are just embarrassing, or at least they ought to be.... EA knows it holds the trump card: if you want to play an NFL game, you are going to have to buy theiur game. Simple as that. Why should they care?

Having a Bills WR lining up at DT for the Jets (in a Bills uni) during a game? Repeating draft classes, totally unrealistic stats when simmed? Amateur hour.

This stuff didn't happen in previous gen. But most people don't really care; it's just the hardcore fans who post on boards like this that even notice most of these glitches.

I'm perfectly in tune with the shock, dismay, and the outcry from us consumers, this time. I'm usually the one to enjoy Madden for all it has to offer for my virtual football playing needs, and I take Madden for what it is. I'm the type that enjoys Madden even when certain things take away from making it w simulstion of what we see every Sunday. But I mostly enjoy this game and for the most part find it a good football simulator that has the potential to return to it's former innovative nature and glory days.


But this, is ridiculous, everything from the graphics to gameplay to sideline animations looks 100% identical to current gen. Like someone said, our expectations shall and will be raised when the technology is developing. Considering all of the technical hardware goodness the Xbox One and PS4 has to offer, it is completely inexcusable EA, tiburon, and hell minimally the NFL didn't do more to capitlize and use that hardware to its full capabilities.

95% of the reason I own a video game console is for football. I've had my PS4 pre-order for months. I had been planning on picking this game up, however these trailers are doing nothing for me. I might as well just get NBA 2k14 and keep playing NCAA on CG if I need a football fix. In the trailer, the animations look very jerky and robotic. So frustrating as a football gaming fan.
