Passing during plays

I run a lot of plays during my offense, but it really gets frustrating when I turn the ball over because of the silly passing system. Sometimes when Im running a play, a player will get the ball icon on top of them, but they will be running on the opposite side with a lot of players between themselves and myself... instead, id have a nearby player who is open, but whenever I try to pass to him, the game automatically passes to the guy wiht the icon, allowing for an easy steal by the other team. It doesnt matter where im pointing, as long as that ball icon is there, he gets the ball. Pressing R1 makes it work but most of the time, it also breaks the play, and sometimes the free space created. Anyone else run plays in this game? How do you do it?

Re: Passing during plays

Use icon passing or full playvision from the coaching options.

Why are you passing to the wrong person if you don't want to break the play? Unless if that's because you've spotted somebody open and then it doesn't matter if the play breaks or not, you're probably gonna shoot the ball anyway.

Full play vision shows diagrams (not sure of that word) on the court and removes the A above the player's head. But passing to somebody else than the person you're supposed to will most likely break the play anyway.

sometimes the guy your supposed to pass to isnt open, but theres more space on the opposite side of the floor, or hte only open passing lane is that one.... so id rather pass to someone and keep the floor spacing the way it is

Re: Passing during plays

Yeah I get you. But then the play break and that breaks the good spacing created by the play. Yeah maybe something they should try to improve.

Fullplayvision will at least fix your problem with the passing (tbh never had the issue. If you aim at the right guy with LS it should go there)
