Baffling Decisions by 2k

Let me start by saying, the game is really fun andgood (despite me sucking ATM) but some of these descions are just stupid.

Why did they take out the ability to save your rosters to your own harddrive without having to upload them?

Where are all the defensive options like telling your players to play off a certain player?

Why are the menu's garbage?

Where is CAP?

Like why did these simple things need to be taken out and for what benefit? CAP i get, it's due to the stupid MyPlayer **** and cutscenes, whatever...but why is editing your roster so damn difficult and potentially a headache if servers are down Why do I have to download it from a list that will get bigger as time goes on...EVERY TIME?

These are small thing that should be easy to get and yet the ****ed it up. Somebody needs to tell them this is truly stupid. this game in terms of customization is kneecapped. I tried to tweet Ronnie but he only seem to care about tweets that strokes his ego. 2K is getting to be cocky like EA and if they weren't so incompetent 2k would be in trouble.

I am having fun but the little things are buggin me hard

i cannot edit my roster.... i could this morning, but the Quick Play- then edit lineup is gone from main menu. when i click it from the other menu it goes straight to DOWNLOAD from other peeps.

Also- WHERE IS create a custom team?

If you were able to trade players and edit teams- please tell me where and how..

sorry to rant- but since college hoops no longer exists I like to trade or create a custom team with all of them on it.

Re: Baffling Decisions by 2k

How many years do we have to go back to find a game without create a player? I don't know if it's possible to patch this in, but 2K absolutely dropped the ball here. How do you launch a game with the Boston Celtics missing their starting center, and the Lakers missing their rookie and then have no way to add them in…ridiculous.

2K has effectively killed the roster editing community.

We need to make noise about this. If only to get an answer. Don't let these dudes rest on their laurels because EA dropped the ball again lol.

Those defensive options that you are speaking of were in when I first started playing after midnight. After the update or whatever they were gone.

Go post and I agree. While I will never understand their decision to do this I can only rationalize it by thinking that this is their way of making Next gen a totally different game than current gen. This effectively keep current gen a viable revenue stream because if you truly want roster customization, 30 team control etc you have to keep or purchase current gen. What I don't like is that 2k pulled an EA and kept this hidden or downplayed all of this instead of being upfront. I had no idea you couldn't save your own roster to your hard drive and you have to be online to retrieve it. Makes no sense but 2k is like any other company when they take over the market they control the shots irregardless ofwhat their customer base thinks.
