Idea to bring excitement back to Player Vs CPU

So I was wondering what everyone thought about on this idea. I love both offline and online NBA gaming. Keep in mind if this idea was implemented, it should not be the only way the game can be played, just an option to turn on. For those familiar with Forza 5, they use "Drivatar" to play against real opponents even when they are offline. What about implementing 2k-Avatar?

The hardest part for me with playing against he CPU, is a lot of the teams don't have that much of a different style. So say when you are playing an 82 game season, use someone elses "2k Avatar" as an opponent. The CPU will have their tendencies. It wont feel like you are playing a computer, as much.

To give an example, when you play against OKC CPU, yes Westbrook and Durant will drive or take their shots, but not aggressively. In real life, Westbrook can and will be selfish with trying to take over, or force up shots. Durant will sometimes just pull up from 3 dribbling up court. We as 2k players, do this when we use such teams. We are aggressive with our stars, but make the right play when we have nothing else. If we use someone elses "game style" for the CPU, it will be different each game.

The problem that his causes is, "Well I don't want to get someone who chucks up 40 threes a game or doesn't pass once". Agreed! But 2k can filter out the ridiculous Avatars. But sometimes a team will shoot 20-30 threes. Sometimes Carmelo will put up 50, taking 35 shots. It does and will continue happening in real life. Peoples Avatars will give a new "spark" to playing the CPU. My idea is obviously rough around the edges, but its the idea, if implemented and filtered properly, that can change the excitement we have.

I don't know about everyone else, but after a 5 hour session of Association, I just need to get online because its more difficult and there is actually USER ERRORS you can exploit. It feels more real. The CPU can have slow reactions, but they rarely make true user mistakes like in real life.

Thoughts? Something to add on to it?

I absolutely love this idea. I remember NFL 2k5 had this and it was so dope. It was eery how close they got to replicating tendencies. I would watch the CPu play using my profile and they would spin when I would spin, juke when i would, go for it on 4th at the same rate that I would etc. I don't see why this couldnt be done 10 years later on better hardware. Bring back VIP profiles!!!

2k has a solid foundation for a beautiful looking game. Obviously mechanics and animations can always be fixed every year, so why not spend the extra time mainly on game modes and making it more authentic? When I play against elite players, I want them to be themselves. I want it to be a challenge to guard Melo. I want Westbrook to grab that rebound and sprint up the court and force you to play transition D. I don't feel like Im playing OKC, I feel like Im playing the same team with different players. I think this 2k-Avatar would help fix this.

Re: Idea to bring excitement back to Player Vs CPU

My problem with CPU is they play so perfect . So every team and every player starts feeling repetitive to play against. I once played against an injured Danny Granger where all his stats dropped to 60s and it didn't even matter he still lit me up like Granger before PG24 Era. Also recovery defense for CPU is over the top. Sliding in place , miracle blocks , speed boosts, insane passing lane coverage. Seems like playing the CPU throws ratings and tendencies out the window . That's why I never go deep into association or myplayer. I can barely get through a quarter against the CPU ...

Don't think VIP will fix that think it's deeper
