FIFA 15: Post your favorite "Instructions"

Okay, OS Nerds, I thought it would be useful to start a thread with thoughts, ideas, and implementations of one of FIFA 15's most significant additions: Instructions.

I have not yet experimented much but I'd love to learn what others are doing. Please use this thread to post your favorite recipes or even just anecdotes and observations.

Feel free to combine your ideas with other collateral information and ideas, e.g. formation and tactics.

All I see for defensive players instructions is the default setting, support attack and play as striker... Am I missing some other menu? Is that all?

I would like to know how to "Park The Bus" with Chelsea.

Because I want the most realistic EPL experience possible.

D Pad all the way to the right I think. Or it's all the way left. You will see immediately. It changes the offensive and defensive mindset. The farthest one whichever direction it is, is park the bus

Pretty sure he was just making a crack about Mourinho.

Also, to that point, I'd like there to be a S*hit the Bed mode so I can start my career with Liverpool.

Are you talking about CBs? All I see is balanced, stay back during attack and join the attack. Pretty limited for CBs and full backs who only have balanced never overlap and always overlap.

I don't have a favourite instructions set, it depends on the match. Although I always give Di Maria freedom to roam and he pops up everywhere, just like in real life. I will tell one of my strikers, Falcao or RVP to pull out wide when the game feels too narrow, this often draws a defender out of position for a central run from a midfielder or leaves the wide striker open.

Telling speeding wingers to get in behind is also opening up some holes in defense for me.

Yes this. Pretty much limited for CB's. It would be great if there were support instructions.

Using Spurs I like to play Eriksen as a CAM but with the "Free role". He was popping up all over the place, left right & center.

Setting a skillful wide MF player (i.e. not a true "winger") like Lamela to "come back to the ball" is a nice instruction.

The options for strikers is woefully limited (press back line & target man/run behind/wide, that's the entirety of it).

I set Capoue to STAY BACK and Dembele to GO FORWARD. Not sure how much either of those impact the game yet.
