2k15 Arena Lighting

Last night I made the mistake of playing 2k14 and the lighting in that game literally made 2k15 graphics look lifeless and dull to me.

It was just an immediate eye soar once i put 2k15 back in, it didnt bother me much before but now I feel like I need the lighting from last year to enjoy the game.

I just wonder what made 2k go the route of dark dull arenas this year.

I keep wanting to pop 2k14 back in just for the heck of it, but I fear the same thing. I'm gonna realize more flaws in 2k15. Why do things get worse instead of better...or at the very least, stay the same?

Yea man don't make the same mistake I did, 2k15 looks very dull to me now kind of sucks didn't think graphics meant that much to me but I guess it does. Besides for the faces the overall game just looks worse to me now.

And I guess the addition of all the new game modes and features meant they had to drop in things like arena lighting, which kind of makes sense seeing how bare bones 2k14 was, but I just thought with the current gen we could have both great graphics and great gameplay/features, oh well.

no thx...the lighting in 2K14 was over done. The courts looked like they had a layer of Vaseline on them and the lights showed up to much on the court.

I agree it was over the top last year but getting rid of it all together doesnt solve the problem.

Lol its an immediate difference right?? We are in the next gen I dont feel 2k should be going backwards in the graphic/lighting department in just the 2nd installment on the new systems.

I succumbed to the pressure to see if this is true, and it definitely is. Sad.
