Madden should have a "Year 2" franchise update every year after Superbowl.

What I mean is ......this time of year, teams that are out of the playoffs and have teams that may have hired new coaches etc, are excited to start a franchise again with their team. It would be nice if EA released an update this time a year where the franchise starts in year 2 and correct records for teams for the 2014 season draft order, new coaches etc. It great holdover till madden 16. They should do it ever year at this time.

That is too much support after release. We are lucky we get playoff roster updates.

Outside of those roster updates EA basically stops supporting the game in November.

If they did this it would open the door for people to create rookies and place them on teams that have all of these updates.

It would be competition for their new release and they'd lose money. Not gonna happen.

Yeah, if they did that, a whole lot less people would likely buy Madden 16.

i agree if EA did an update like that nobody would want to buy the next version why spend $65 if u could just continue where u left off in last yr version with updated rosters etc in yr 2 of franchise.

i mean EA eveb took out option of changing coaches in play now mode i remember u could change playbooks and that coach would be on that team not anymore.

In other words we're lucky because we get 6 months of support for a game ? Other games like Driveclub will have years of support...

Driveclub is supported by DLC though, 12+ months of it planned out, while EA has to produce another retail release in less than that time.

Or are you suggesting there be $25 worth of Season Pass content drummed up for Madden also?

Would be nice to have threads without all the hyperboyle though. A coach/roster update in January is why "nobody" would buy the next Madden? Please.
