Official PES 2015 Master League Thread

This is needed haha

How are your guys Master Leagues going?

I think I'm gonna start with Real Madrid. Might go with AC or Inter Milan. Thinking maybe about Crystal Palace, West Brom, Newcastle, QPR in the Barclays. What about the Championship? or Brasil?

Re: Official PES 2015 Master League Thread

Finally, a "how's your carrer mode going" thread for PES!
So, I started a few weekes ago a run with barcelona, just to really master top player and superstar difficulity, but it turned out to be a beast of a team, because in January I bought lewandowski, zouma, F.Santana, and Perin, Genoa's GK! But even with that team, I'm second in the league, since Real Madrid lost only one game, and I lost 4.
Also, I really liked your idea of a brazillian team, I might actually try it myself! It's also a nice idea because KONAMI have the libertadores licensed with a scoreboard, which is nice

Re: Official PES 2015 Master League Thread

Here is the last game I played as of now:

This is my third season managing Burnley, I almost left in the offseason to coach River Plate. But, didn't have the heart to leave the team that I have built. Sad, but Danny Ings bolted for Man City, and a lot of my other great players left as well. So, I had to rebuild again. I signed Smalling who is starting to decline but he still is rated as a 81 overall. I am in the middle of the pack right now 13 games in.

I quit coaching North Korea, and now coach Team USA.

I love this game.

Re: Official PES 2015 Master League Thread

Currently half-way through my first year with Clermont Foot in Ligue 2. I've been up & down trying to find out who my key players are and who plays where. Settled into a bit of a groove and started making my way up from the bottom of the table. I did get bounced early in the Coupe de Ligue and it was all my fault. For some reason I was thinking about Squad rotation and fielded a lesser side (which is saying a lot) and got bounced by last-in-the-league Dijon. What made it even worse is that I played them in a league game after and trounced them 5-2 (I kept the dogs on all match). At the midway point I'm in 8th with 4/5 points separating us from 3rd and promotion to Ligue 1. One of my CBs, Avinel, is really poor and starting to decline so I made a deal early for Lindsay Rose from Lyon. I also swooped in on a LB (can't remember the name yet) but my big buy was Anthony Martial from Monaco. He wanted out (for more PT I assume) and we snatched him up. In his first appearance off the bench he scored on his first shot but we ultimately blew a 3-1 lead in drawing 3-3. I'll try to mash up some highlights since I've been randomly saving them along the way.

Re: Official PES 2015 Master League Thread

I'm heading toward the end of year 2 of my AC Milan ML. Year 1 was extremely tough; got bounced out of the Europa League in the group stage, out of Coppa Italia in the 1st round and at one point past the mid season mark was sitting at 18 in the table. Brought in Lavezzi and Pedro to help out and was able to finish 13th.

Year 2 is a completely different story. Lavezzi left among some others but brought in Coutinho, Willian, Mercado (from Brazil), Shaw, Jones and in the winter transfer Vargas. Torres is still here and he is my top scorer along with El Shaarawy.

Currently sitting at 1st in the table tied in points with Juventus with the edge in goal difference. My midfield is extremely solid with De Jong, Montolivo, and Van Ginkel. Van Ginkel along with Coutinho have probably been my most important players with Pedro playing like the Pedro of few years ago. Have a lot of depth on defense so I'm able to rotate and change players when I need to based on tactics.

Having a lot of fun and at times the game makes me throw my hands up and react like I was playing Football Manager which is good. lol

I got bounced out of Coppa Italia and with no other European contests to worry about I'm hoping we win out the league this year. Next year we'll be back in the CL so that will be much more difficult to do.

A small part of me is interested to see what job offers open up although I would hate to leave Milan after bringing them back up.

Re: Official PES 2015 Master League Thread

What do you do when one of your star players want to transfer?
Do you drive up the transfer price so much that he will be forced to stay?
If so, what are the ramifications for so doing?

Man City wanted Danny Ings, so I drove up the price so I got the displeased face (orange), but I didn't drive up to the angry face (red). Maybe I should have, because my team is struggling to score goals now.
