Can't contain my excitement!!

Hi Guys/Gals!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this kind of thing so my apologies in advance!

I'm ashamed to say I've never visited the USA, although I have always had a passion for your sports. I'm coming over on the 8th of November this year to New York!! I've managed to get tickets for the Knicks vs Lakers at Madison Square Garden! You guys will probably laugh but I cannot contain myself!!

Living in France I'd be just as excited as you are. You're gonna have a great time.

Just make sure you get a pic of Kobe's game winner jumpshot for me.

Re: Can't contain my excitement!!

Thanks mate! I just can't believe it and the next day I'm going for a tour around Yankee Stadium then on to a cruise around the Caribbean!

Congrats man, you're going to have a great time.

I know this is the NBA forum, but of the things you listed (Yankee stadium, Caribbean cruise, NYC in general), going to the LA/NYK game will probably be the least exciting of your trip.

Knicks/Lakers? I'm sorry man.

But nah, it'll be a blast. Haven't been to New York but I'm sure you'll keep busy lol.

Re: Can't contain my excitement!!

I just wish I had more time, so much to see and do in just two days! The trip itself is for my wife's 40th birthday but I've been a lifelong NBA fan so she's OK with us going to the game

Is it true that the arena won't serve beer to non U.S. residents?

Congrats! You'll enjoy yourself. NY is a busy city with lots of things to do.

Don't know about the beer question though.

Two days?!? It's tough to say don't go to the game but man, if I only had 2 days in NYC with the chance of maybe never going back, I don't know if I'd want to spend a couple of hours in the Garden. So much to see, so little time.

I don't know the rules with serving beer in The Garden, but I promise you there are a million places around there that will so just take a break while watching the game if that's the case. You'll have time to get caught up.
