Connected Franchise extremely slow progression

The progression I'm connected franchise mode, for both online and offline, is ridiculously slow. They give you barely any XP for doing anything whereas the amount of XP you'll need to progress your players remains the same. I understand that many people thought it was too easy in recent years but they severely overcorrected. In particular the milestone goals are laughable. If I were to win the MVP award with Sam Bradford he would receive 1,668 XP. That's good enough to upgrade one of his passing attributes by one point maybe two. That's ludicrous. Last year most milestone goals like that (big awards and accomplishments) got you around 15,000 XP. That's a huge drop and I can't imagine this is what people want. There's no way to build a team if they never get any better, the only way to get good player is to trade for players who are already good and that sucks.

This is my second biggest problem with an otherwise solid game (number one is the lack of user control with the skill positions) but its easily the most fixable. We just need a tuning update to give us more XP. Ideally they could give the Commissioners the option to determine what type of progression their league has. Even if its just like "slow, medium, or fast" that would be better than this. I hope this is tuned soon because I would like to have the awards races and accomplishments in my online franchise to actually mean something. Heck to have the plays my players make on a game to game basis mean something.

Re: Connected Franchise extremely slow progression

I was worried about this also after playing a 16 game, 15 min quarter all madden season, I'm not. Younger players are given the opportunity to progress much faster. Drafted a quarterback after year 1. All his traits are much cheaper than rg III and Ryan mallett thus giving him a chance to develop vs vet like Bradford who has had his time to develop into the player he is gonna be. Seeing players who were in their late 20s all the sudden going from 80 to 90+ Was kinda silly. Yes game prep was gimped significantly, but for example I was able to do 1 game prep every week with Landon Collins in year 1 and through his in game and season goals got him from 72 as I saw him to 78 in that time. Maybe it's just me but I far prefer this than taking a mid 70's player to high 80's low 90's after 1 year. Just gotta give players time on the field and play some games.
