Player Activeness Consistency Issue

Does anyone else see a huge lack of consistency game to game as far as players making runs vs. standing around and players coming to passes vs. letting the ball come to them? Would love to know if there is a way to eliminate the second options from my teams play. Does it have to do with the opponents tactics?

People complain about it in other EA sports titles as well... in NHL they call it "Ice Tilt".

In Madden it's commonly referred to as "Equalizer"...

Dunno what those morons are talking about though... it was officially confirmed by EA themselves back in 08 in an advert (link above)

The company is hardly going to admit it now... not when they have a "buy better players" mode in there. Ignore them... people on the internet... generally speaking... not very sparky.
