Loose ball issues

matt10 calls it "loose ball ADD", I call it annoying, I hate capturing videos cause it takes me forever but I had to capture this one..Im running up the field with Aguero, take a shot, the goalie makes a nice save but the ball is in a nice spot for Silva to get there,

Keep in mind, as soon as it shot, I was tapping L1, trying to switch players, but the game wouldn't let me...

And while I was tapping L1, Silva decided to take a break, why? I have no clue. I could make 100's of these videos because it happens way too often, and 9/10 times its to favor the cpu.

Im playing on World class default sliders btw.

it seems like every year theres something stupid in the coding. how this got past developers ill never know.

thankfuly, its USUALLY not game deciding. i sure hope its in a fix though.

The only thing worse is when the ball is almost at their feet. They could stick their foot out and grab it with no issue, but no, they start back peddling away from it. That makes me want to start rage smashing everything in sight.

This happens basically everytime the ball is cleared out of the box. It seems to be maybe a bit better this year but it's still inexcusible

I posted this clip before but this thread is where it can truly feel like home.
Basically I've noticed that if the ball is not in possession, the ai controlled players can be oblivious to its existence. Possibly related to this, is how you sometimes launch a slow cross into the box and your players keep on running towards goal when the ball is obviously going to land elsewhere!



I have high hopes that this will get patched though. Because if anything it looks real bad in videos and I suppose EA really cares about how things look. So we need those videos. And when I say high hopes I mean I think the chances are higher than 0%, but yeah.

To me this os slider issue and mainly semi/manual controls issue. Test it on assitsted settings, for me it seems to solve most problems. Too bad assisted is not a good option for the most experienced.

Sorry, but no. Its not a slider issue or an assistance setting issue. This happens no matter what you are using. Its an AI programming issue. I've seen it on default pro, I've seen it on altered world class. AI teammates will run from the ball or ignore it. Your players will over run passes or clearances from the GK like the ball is sill in front of them. Heck, even your player you are controlling will veer away from the ball because the cpu player has been magnetically locked on to it even though you are closer. Its bull**** and needs to be fixed. Its been like this for years, its just not as bad this year as in the past.
