Overtime Coin Toss

I had my first overtime game tonight. Unlike the start of each game, it showed the coin toss. That's good, but it seemed like it simulated it. I was home, so the other team called the coin. They won and chose to receive. Then when it came to direction, I didn't get to pick. It showed the selections, but the game picked for me. Unfortunately, it was a windy day, and they put the wind in my face.

Anyone else have experience with the overtime coin toss? Did you have similar issues?

Does it go by what you pre-select on one of the game option pages?
