My career roster question? Help please

When 2k puts out roster updates and puts players ratings up or down, do they go into your my career roster every time they update or are you stuck with whatever roster there was when you started it?

They don't change. The stats for MyCareer/MyLeague/MyGM roster based on the roster you started with

Thanks. I kinda figured that I was just hoping maybe it changed this year. It would be nice if they could do that, guess I'll have to play with a 83 Kobe then lol

Yeah I gave up on My Career because of how it treats a teams roster and generated players once you make it to the NBA. I ended up creating a player with low attributes based on this years draft picks and starting a My League. I use the player lock feature work around. Its pretty fun some RPG elements but not all when compared to My Career. Plus I could not stand being called Freak anymore!
