Hmm maybe Klay Thompson's shot release with some sort of grounded set-shot as the base.
Make sure you set the release to "quick" so that your player shoots the ball on the way up.

I don't know if it's possible to combine JumpShot and ShotBase in My Career. I mean it's just one option. I ll give a try to Thompson's even if I think he jumps much higher when shooting...
What about the free throw?
