Diamond T-Mac Anticipation Thread

So let's assume that T-Mac comes out next week... Here's the comparison from the onyx to the diamond. Looks like the diamond will shoot better, but not as athletic as the old onyx.

Looks like 2k is trying to stop people from using him at PG with lower playmaking too..

88 PFA + 9 shoe = 97 post fade.. with no guard post up plays. I got excited when I saw 2k updated diamond Tmac's badges to 25 like the Rocket's version as well as defensive anchor and some other personality badges alsol.. But missing guard post up plays is just awful IMO.

I had Onyx T-Mac for a while last year but didn't really love him. Granted, at that point the game was already over and I had tried pretty much every card in the game, but T-Mac didn't crack my rotation. Rockets T-Mac has been much better for me this year. I'm fine with the decrease in Playmaking as he only really played PG in the twilight of his career.

The other noticably different stats are Hustle and Misc Durability, clearly bumped up to get him into Diamond territory.

no, the big thing is what I stated before....Lateral Quickness of Onyx was 94, Diamond is 78, which I think is B.S.

I am cool with his speed/acc though.....even though they really screwed up a lot of other historics in that category.

I think they did this on purpose to stop people from using him at PG to slow down the fast guards...

see, I have problems with that if its true. people need to stop whining and complaining about these guys playing PG because 2k doesnt know how to tune stuff properly, they just overreact and band-aid everything. Chopping his lateral quickness that much makes no sense. 94 is a bit high...but he should be around 84-85ish.

me personally, I never cared if someone wanted to play LBJ at PG. Just make defensive adjustments. 78 will certainly make him a liability defending PG's. IDK really though....because I will play him at the 2 or 3.

With the updates they did, I would think he comes out next along with one of the Stackhouse cards.
