The Clinch is beautiful

Its in a beautiful state right now, and I mean that 100%. You and your opponent both have to really read each other, just like the ground, but on a smaller scale.

Patience is key. No longer does spamming strikes keep you safe. It's incredibly balanced since the last patch. I've completed dominated some guys in the clinch and some other high level guys completely neutralized my clinch. If you're struggling with the clinch, most likely you're struggling with the mental part of it. It doesnt take incredible stick skills or reflexes to have a good clinch....its 90% mental.

I'm primarily a striker and even I can appreciate what the devs have done with the clinch. Great job guys.

But your ground game is awesome dude. You had Cejudo and handle me on the ground. I picked up a few stuff from that fight. Didn't realize you were that good.

Ya I have my settings blocked from getting messages. To much hate and spam mail. I don't like that to much.

ya it was a fun game, the ground is what I'm good at, striking not so much but I'm ok and clinch game I'm ok, also i do like to clinch a lot even if they are better and deny everything. My goal is to get it to the ground anyway, even if it means I force you to deny over and over from the clinch. The sweep is my friend. lol

But overall it was a good fight. Fun!

but one thing I am good at and I give myself lots of credit is the fakes on the ground. I'm a fake ninja when it comes to moving around on the ground over and over. The only thing that kills me is the lag that will force me to get denied but when it's smooth I'm really good at fakes and ground game.

Are you guys playing the same game I am playing right now? Right now it feels like before the patch... in my last 12 or 13 online fights, EVERY opponent clinched me to death. The same cheese in every fight

When such a high % of fights are still finished in the MT Clinch I can't agree with you. If it wasn't still OP people wouldn't constantly spam it. When strikes don't work there are flying subs from MT too.
