MLB The Show 16 on 4K HDR TV?

I am about to get my first 4K HDR TV tomorrow and was wondering if MLB The Show 16 will look a little or a lot better then it does on 1080P TV's?

Anyone here play MLB The Show16 on a 4K TV and does it suffer from lag at all?

I am getting the Sony XBR43X800D I hope I made the right choice

Just a comment. Are you sure you want to go with a 43 inch HDTV? Years back, I was debating between a 55 and a 40 and a 46 for a 10x12 bedroom. First impression with the 55 was an absolute shock size wise. It simply felt ginormous. Decided to swap it out for a 40 and also 46 open boxed TV sets. After about a week, I was regretting my decision. Ultimately went back to the 55.

Knowing what I know now, I would have moved up to a 65 inch set or even 70.

I honestly bought a 60" 4K Samsung HDTV on Sunday. It looks awesome. One piece of advise, if the TV has a "Gaming" setting or some version of that, make sure you use it. There was a significant lag until I switched to that picture mode. In that mode it's fantastic with no lag!

I play The Show on a 1ms, 24 inch monitor and have zero input lag whatsoever. If you're looking for something without any kind of input lag, monitors are by far the best choice. I simply have it hooked into my computer monitor, even though I have a 46 inch Samsung TV right next it, but the comparison when it comes to input lag is huge. "Game Mode" on a TV makes the game's quality go down drastically, so I personally would never choose to use that either.

There's no point in getting a tv that's 4K unless it's larger than 55 or 60 inches because human eyes can't distinguish the detail unless you would be sitting really close to it. I have the 55 Sony and when set on game mode I get little to no lag, but aside from a wider color range and a slightly sharper picture you are not likely to pick up the extra detail, also it should be noted the PS4 is only capable of 1080p output so all the added detail is from the upscaling which causes lag. So I would recommend either buying a larger and more expensive 4K tv if you have the means of getting one and really want the UHD, which on a side note is great for Netflix, or an OLED 1080 which is a similar price to a UHD TV but comes with the best contrast and colors, or a typical 1080 LED which will play the PS4 near perfectly at a significantly lower cost. I seemed to get off of the discussion of The Show but TVs are serious investments and there's a lot to consider besides lag and resolution. Also every individual setting you pick will influence how much lag you can get. Just my two cents, but good luck and whatever you get will probably suit your needs it's all a matter of the price point and if you're getting what you pay for.

I have noticed zero change in quality of the game with TV in game mode. I have to disagree completely with the previous poster's comment.
