Uploading/saving my player appearance

Has anyone else come across this, and more importantly have you fixed it?

Making manual changes to MyPlayer appearance is fine, save works.

Doing a face scan works fine, I can see my face scan on the screen, but when you accept changes it's stuck on "Uploading..."

I have tried:

Power cycle XBox One (tried about 5 times)
Power cycle network equipment
Turn off Kinect
Uninstall/Reinstall 2K17 Prelude
Taking face scans with Android AND iPhone

Sent a ticket to 2K support and got a non-helpful "Make sure you're not getting any numbers skipped during your face scan". My face is scanning just fine. I can't save it once I'm in the game.

Same thing happens to me on my Xbox One. ;(

Bump* I've been having this same problem, can anyone offer a solution to it, or has anyone else experienced this?
