Do people miss the OLD 2k before the Badges?

I feel like since the introductions of badges, the game has gone downhill in the online department. badges have a higher effect on gameplay than actual human skill at somepoints and seems to serve as a bailout to do stupid**** .

Example, Catch and shoot + Corner specialist + Insert game point badge here as well

Said it a while back. 2K used to be about signature styles, not badges. We're moving further and further downhill towards NBA Live 07

Old 2K as in NBA 2K11? Yep, first with the nostalgic plug, lol.

On the real, I've been complaining about badges, since they were introduced. I REALLY hated them when the Pacers were THE number 1 defensive team during the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons. At one point during the 2013-2014 season, they were the best defensive team in NBA history. What was the point of playing with a top defensive team when there was so many offensive badges that nullified or overpowered the defensive badges? The moment they added badges to the game, stick skills became unimportant.

That's why GSW is such a difficult team to beat in PNO. With all their badges stacking on offense, the players can play well above their shooting ratings regardless of the defense.

Yes. Now instead of actually getting better at the game everyone is now just "grinding for badges."

I loved the original thinking behind badges...but it's gotten to be too much...more 'gamey' than basketball driven..

Which is one of the cheesiest things I've seen implemented in a 2K game.

I was fine with Sig skills and being limited to only 7 TOTAL. Haven't liked the badge system at all, especially with being able to get so many on one player.
