recruiting question

this just popped in my head. has anyone done a study on if playing games in a state helps you recruit players from that state? I was thinking about the bowl games playing and they were talking about how winning in that state would help recruiting there. I was just curious if it played similar in the game? I doubt they put something like that in there but was just wondering if anyone has looked into it.

I have been playing on 13 and yea offering to play in their state,even if its the same state your school is in seems to help alot

oh I was talking about 14 sorry for the confusion. the promise is not on 14 was just curious if it still had an impact on recruits
