What do you do with freeze glitchers?

So it's a pretty common occurrence on this game, you're beating someone late in the game and it magically freezes just as the opponent has given up hope of winning. What do you do?

Do you wait it out to get the win you deserve, but potentially waste a lot of your valuable time, or do you give in and quit and give the cheating little scum the win? Do you set a time limit on how long you'll wait? Do you report the person or send them messages?

Admittedly not all freezes are intentional, I've had it freeze once when I was losing so I took my medicine and quit, but the vast majority seem intentional to me.

I try and wait it out if I can. Reporting it does nothing so don't bother. Even the first inning freezes at 0-0 in ranked seasons (clearly not intentional) almost always result in a loss for me and they do nothing about it when you report that too

I was up 5-0 in the 3rd, it "Magically" froze, so I tried waiting it out, switched over to the TV watched Ancient Aliens for an hour, came back and the no life scumbag hadn't left yet. Since I had other stuff to do I shut off my PS4 and left.

Oh I will absolutely wait. And I don't allow messages from people on my friends list so they can't harass me.

I've waited 12+ hours before, and my approach is that I have so many things in real life that I can accomplish in the meantime. It's really a win-win situation for me!

For the other person, I hope they understand that they'll never play PS4 again if they choose to play this freeze game with me.

If it's clear I was probably going to lose, I'll quit out as a courtesy. But it's been done to me as I was approaching 9 wins in BR and I had no problems letting them torture themselves.

People figured out a way to intentionally freeze the game now?

Yes, there is an intentional freeze. Got hit by it twice. It blew up on Reddit for a while until the mods banned all discussion of it in an effort to limit its spread. It's only going to get worse from here.

Remember, every account on your main PS4 has access to PS+. These accounts can glitch to WS, get the reward, sell it, and transfer stubs to their main account using the market. This would be the primary motive to do this glitch. Hopefully SDS can catch them and ban them.

Happened a lot more frequently before the patches but I wait it out. I'll go watch TV/Netflix, make a snack anything. Sure I could've quit and took the loss and potentially won 2 more games in that time, but in Ranked Seasons, losing a game especially quitting a game drops your rating a lot more than a win does. So it's more about avoiding the Loss more so than getting a win.

I thought it was just a bug, since every time it's happened to me I was losing. had no idea it was exploitable
