Need help with difficulty settings. Please.

Hey guys!

So my friend and I are trying to play 2k17 on Xbox One, but the issue is we are both very different in skill levels. Is there any way that he could play rookie difficulty while I'm on All-star for quick play matches? I've tried everything. Changing the difficulty in-game changes the difficulty for both players.

There used to be a workaround not too long ago by adjusting sliders for the home and away teams when it's user vs user. They changed it a few years ago so now it's user vs CPU sliders.

TL;DR: I don't think there's a way to adjust difficulty for two different players anymore.
