Madden 19 CFM Teams

Now that free agency and the draft are done, what are your top teams of interest for CFM and why?

I'll say top 4:

Browns - plenty of young talent, rookie QB with decent mobility, Chubb at RB, Myles, Peppers, Landry at WR..could be very fun

Cards - Rosen at QB, David Johnson, Christian Kirk, some solid D talent, but hate that Honey Badger is gone!

Giants - Insane talent on offense, need new QB but I'm a big fan of Lauletta. Solid defense, but definitely some issues.

Ravens - Lamar takes over late year 1 or year 2. Lots of offensive talent, really fun defense IMO.

49ers. For obvious reasons (see avatar). But with Sherman now, the secondary is going to be above average at least in the game. With McKinnon, they'll have speed at running back, and the right kind of tackles for outside zone with Staley and McGlinchey. Then linebacker? With Foster, Warner, and Smith, that's going to be a pretty fast group. And lastly, the defensive line should still be pretty solid with Buckner in there.

Another team I'd be interested in: The Bucs. They totally changed their D-line. With McCoy and Vita Vae in the middle, good luck with dives, and with Piere-Paul and Curry on the outside, well, that's a heck of a D-line. Then they have speed at linebacker, and very talented pieces on offense.

And obviously the Rams. That's going to be a God-mode team coming out of the gates, unless the players are vastly overrated.

The 49ers will be interesting, a full season with Garoppollo and added some key pieces during the off-season. I think they’ll be a popular choice in Madden 19.

Browns and Bears for sure. I'll probably start with the Bears.

Bears (Much better team that is young)

Jets (Darnold and a solid defense)

Colts (Lots of picks at the end of season 1)

Cardinals (Still have some older players that need to be replaced)

Browns (Team still lacks depth and is very young)

Redskins (This team will be a lot of fun and is in bad shape in my eyes)

Re: Madden 19 CFM Teams

Chances are my favorite CFM team for '19 will be the Arizona Cardinals.

You have arguably the best QB prospect in the draft in Josh Rosen. He plays a pocket style I like. David Johnson returning from injury. Fitz still has that huge presence. Christian Kirk is an exciting physical receiver to have in your system. Ricky Seals-Jones, if developed could be a solid tight end starter.

Defensively, you have a guy like Chandler Jones who is a great pass rusher but also an intriguing hybrid in Deonne Bucannon. And don't forget the defensive/special teams utility knife of Patrick Peterson.

I like that Steve Wilks is a defensive minded coach and I think he'll be a good disciplined face for the organization. I would be really excited to build a strong offensive line in front of Rosen, re-tool the secondary after losing the Honey Badger, and energizing the linebacking corps.

Plus, I really love Arizona's stadium and uniforms. After watching the series (can't remember the name) that was a Hard Knocks-ish behind the scenes look at the Cardinals, I really like the Bidwell family as well. Overall, a pretty cool team.

I always try to pick a team who can use some building but has some upside. This past year I rolled with the Rams and Jets while having a blast in an albeit somewhat handcuffed franchise mode.

Great thoughts! Don't forget about Cards safety Budda Baker - he's in line to take the Badgers role. Replacing Fitz will be big too, and I agree the O-line needs love.

Would you trade Bradford at some point if it made sense for another team? I only do realistic trades.

49ers fun for sure! I'd like to see Dez end up there, could use a big body WR.

Dude, Rams D is bonkers! Offensive is pretty nice too, I wouldn't prob use them b/c they are too good already.
