One small detail 2K needs to add

After the Doncic screenshot, I remembered something that 2K has been missing, accents on some international players names on their jerseys. So instead of DONCIC it should be DONČIĆ. Here are some other examples:

They have to update every single font that's used on jerseys, for every possible accent. Obviously it's doable, but I can see why it's low priority. A lot of people probably wouldn't even notice. I never did.

For starters, every name would have to be stored in Unicode rather than ASCII, if they aren't already. Then the Edit Name field would have to be changed to use an international keyboard for every region. And like already mentioned, every font used for jersey lettering and the UI itself (although the UI probably already does) would need to support those characters as well.

It's doable but certainly not easy. Not to take away from the OP's request because it's very reasonable.

Thanks for letting me know guys. Honestly I don't even remember how I noticed it, but hopefully they'll be able to add it in one day.

On that token, prefixed last-names sometimes have lowercase letters on the jersey. This may be harder to program in, and may not be worth their time/resources, but is a small detail they could add in to perfect that aspect of the game.





They'd have to database the prefixes that qualify for this rule and also factor in the capitalization of the name to ensure that it qualifies. Not sure why I look into these really minute aspects of the game lol.
