Are there any other details as to how this works? Is a button toggle in the jersey select screen? Or are certain jerseys associated with short shorts?

It's a shame this is only assigned to uniforms and not individual players.

John Stockton wore them out of personal preference.

However, beggars can't be choosers, and this is a very welcome step forward. Now let's hope for individual player short lengths next year.
