Would this be a good year to skip this title?

I have bought every iteration of this game since 2007, I am really into the show this year, more than ever before, and I am tempted to skip 2k this year. I am an offline franchise guy mostly, and last year I felt was a good game, but from what I have read, this year's game will be much the same. This thread could easily be closed, and chucked away, or answered with a wait for reviews, but I'm bored, and the thought popped into my head to ask you guys, so here we go..

No, you should not skip 2k20.. it has some more new badges but has 80 badges, new player motion, new read & react defense and My GM 2.0

Until we really see how it is ourselves it’s hard to judge. From what I’ve seen so far as a purely offline myplayer guy, this year is skippable.

19 was a must have when compared to 18 for offline players. It's a wait and see for me at the moment. Depends on the bugs.

If the foot planting and player movement is as good as it looks in the few leaked videos I’ve seen then this could be the best 2k ever.

If you're really happy with The Show, I'd say wait for 2K to go on sale. There's usually some Black Friday deals that pop up. You'll save a little money and it'll give you a chance to wait and see how people feel about the game a few months in. And if you're strictly an offline player, you don't have to worry about taking a 73 OVR MyPlayer into the Park/Rec Center against guys who are 85+ and have gold badges.
