The Los Angeles Angels "of Anaheim" Commentary Audio.

The Los Angeles Angels as of at least 3 years ago have officially removed the "of Anaheim" from their name. However in the the game, during the pre-game intros as well as some other instances, the Matt V still calls them by the "of Anaheim" name. Hopefully this can be fixed before The Show 20 releases because it's inaccurate and doesn't represent the team's official title of just "Los Angeles Angels".


Can't wait to hear everyone's super original and definitely not tired takes about the Angels' name and location.

What do the Los Angeles Angels and lawn furniture have in common? They both fold and end up in the basement after Labor Day!

I personally prefer the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim name, but I also prefer the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

For the Halos, the alliteration has a nice ring to it.

They're not the California Angels anymore? When did this happen? I guess the Florida Marlins will change their name next.

Truth be told, it was a pretty stupid way of naming your team. You can't fault people for making fun of the owner for doing that.

I dunno. You cant fault him for not wanting anyone to confuse his team with the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles.

when Tampa dropped the ''Devil'' from ''Devil Rays'', LAA came this close to rebranding as the LA Devil Angels.

I'm surprised Al Davis didnt think of this first before he passed, with Los Angeles Raiders of Oakland. Its still not too late for his son to name them Las Vegas Raiders of Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and Upper Mexico.
