Got a new stadium in franchise mode without me choosing to?

I’m in 2031 in my bucs franchise and after the regular season ended my team left Raymond James stadium for a new one (which I don’t like) without my choosing to do so

Does this just happen randomly? I can’t remember but I may have left relocation on I guess. I’m in coach mode btw

What I really don’t like is the panthers got a new stadium too the year prior which seems to be the same stadium I now have . I don’t love that obviously

Anyone know what’s up with this?

If you are doing coach mode, the owner can do whatever they want with the stadium.

That makes sense but doesn’t most everyone do coach mode since it gives you GM duties too and is basically the default franchise mode choice?

Seems odd that the caveat to that is that you may end up leaving your stadium without your permission for a generic one.

What I wonder is , so far myself and the panthers have gotten our new stadiums ..”Bucs field” “panthers field” and they’re the same , eventually will like half the league have the same generic stadium?

And does this mean if you don’t want to undertake all the extra work of being an owner, and just be a coach, it comes with the risk of being forced to move into a generic stadium? I’m probably going to quit my franchise because Playing 8 (really 10 since the panthers have the same generic stadium) games a year here in a generic lazy EA stadium kills the realism

Just make sure you have relocation entirely disabled.

Owner mode includes all of those features plus ownership features as well. I dont think there's a "default" franchise mode choice, but owner mode gives you the most features/control.
