Madden 21 on PC - worth doing?

After seeing the disappointing news on how franchise will be patch updates for M21 i am either considering getting it on PC or not getting it at all. Been hearing about some great features the PC community built but don't see many YouTube videos on it. Trying to get a much improved Madden simulation experience and have a couple of questions for the PC community:
  • Has anyone modded the face editor into custom draft classes in franchise? If so, is it easy to use like the regular face of the franchise editor or do you have to use it on the backend?
  • How is the community at building custom draft classes? Similiar to Xbox/PS?
  • Any mods for improved stat tracking (teams played for and Superbowl wins)
  • Mods for player builds so they're less bulky and more realistic dimensions?
  • Improved presentation like incorporating ESPN/FOX logos?

As well, how hard is it to mod Madden on PC (haven't done this before) and any recommendations on PCs?

Consider that the modding community has the "start today" mod which is an improvement on the m20 franchise mode. What you need to consider is "what if all those individuals decide to stick with M20?"

The community is on par with xbox/ps in terms of draft classes. The rest of what you are asking has to be done via the frosty editor which as i said, is dependent on modders adopting M21.

Put it this way...if you MUST buy M21 and you want to play franchise, then PC is your best environment to play because you obviously cant mod console games. So anything is better than nothing.

Also the player build can be changed for play now rosters using Madden AMP and exporting the CSV. I haven’t mess with Franchise so I don’t know if it’s done the same way.

Right now.. there’s no guarantee M21 is going to work with frosty. Losing the main developer was a big blow for the tool.

I also imagine a lot of us are sticking to M20.

I would say yes. Might want to wait until Frosty is up for M21, but I'm confident it will get figured out. M21 is already playing better than M20 in the beta imo.

I am 100% moving to Madden 21.. if u currently dont own a PC yet, i wouldnt make the move until frosty is be made available if ur looking for mods..if u have one in place, just get Madden 20 for the cheap, it'll hold u over until frosty is available with all the mods/tools we have now

What if Frosty never becomes compatible with Madden 21? I really do not want to give up the wonderful things you guys in the community have done, nor do I want to give up my own modifications and uniform adjustments.

Are you saying the game play and lighting is worth leaving all the mods of Madden 20 behind, or are you basing your decision on the assumption that Frosty will be able to work with Madden 21?
