Stamina management is still a problem. People want to be able to throw hundreds of strikes. If they were punished it wouldn’t be fun. I think anyone could figure out they are striking too much. It is not that hard of a concept to understand. So many knock downs make the game fun! No, it is too unrealistic. When your block wears down in actual mma you always see fighters get knocked down. No, but is fun. Going into the 5th installment of this game do you really think stamina and striking too much is going to matter? The answer is no. They just want to make the game fun.

Even the best players, and streamers in the game like Martial, Romero, Pry, etc, they all admit you literally can't play this game realistically and expect to win at the highest level; You literally have to use exaggerated output and combos to win in upper tiers. These are the very best players in the game, hardcore MMA fans, who consider themselves sim players, and even they admit you can't actually play sim in this game.


Even if you are literally 1 of the best players in the world, you still can't play sim in this game. It's not about "learning the mechanics", this game is just built to be an arcade experience.

I've shown in previous threads I've made, with actual data, and official UFC striking stats, as evidence, that the output in EA UFC 4 is almost 4 times as much output as a real fight. It's such a gross exaggeration it's honestly baffling.


They might as well just call EA UFC 5: EA UFC BLITZ.

Your gloves can start on fire after you reached a high enough combo mulitplier. Sounds "fun".
