SEATTLE FINALLY SUPER

Seahawks capture franchies' first ever Lombardi Trophy with 38-10 rout over Bills in Super Bowl XLIX

Glendale - The Seattle Seahawks captured their first ever championship on Sunday Night, and sent the whole northwest into pandemonium. The Hawks used the same formula they have all year with stifling defense, and a grueling rushing attack to wear down, and beat down the AFC Champion Buffalo Bills. Russell Wilson was named the games MVP with two passing touchdowns, and a big time 72 yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter to add to his already idolized status in Seattle. In his third season he is already sure to go down as one of, if not the greatest athlete in the region's history, as he erased decades of pain for a city that hadn't had a champion since the long gone Seattle Supersonics of 1979. Whatever happens from this moment forward, the franchise will always have this one shining moment to look back on where they can say without a doubt, they were the best in the world.
