Astros club five homeruns to send M's to sixth straight loss

Houston - Mariners pitching again got shelled, as the Astros took the Mariners deep five times, then held on for a 7-5 victory. Five different Astros players all went yard, four off Taijuan Walker before he got himself ejected for intentionally throwing at a batter in the fourth. There was a lot of chippiness in this one as each team plunked two batters early, also there was a pitch thrown behind John Singleton as well. Hopefully it serves to fire up a Mariners team that has been lifeless over the last 10 ballgames, losing 9 of those 10. They'll try to break their drought tomorrow by sending Chris Young (1-2, 4.03 ERA), to the mound to face Jerome Williams (3-0, 4.60 ERA).
