Seattle - The red hot Felix Hernandez even wasn't enough to stop the buzzsaw that is the Detroit Tigers right now. Detroit notched their eighth win in a row Saturday night by pounding the King and his subject to the tune of a 7-1 margin. Victor Martinez did the most damage for the Tigers with a two run double in the fourth, followed up with a solo shot the next inning that effectively was the knockout blow for the M's. Who are on the wrong end of a streak themselves losing four in a row, and falling back in the division once again. Now the Mariners have the unenviable task of trying to avoid a sweep tomorrow against one Justin Verlander (5-4, 4.08 ERA), as they send Hisashi Iwakuma (3-5, 3.93 ERA) to the mound to face him.
