The Tigers won a slug fest in game one. Detroit scored 3 runs in the first, 4 in the second, and 2 in the third, to take a 9-0 lead into the fourth inning, en route to a 13-6 win. Akil Baddoo and Spencer Torkelson homered for the Tigers. Torkelson had 3 RBI. Baddoo, Kyle Dutcher, Jeimer Candelario, and Miguel Cabrera each had a pair of RBI.
WHITE SOX 6 TIGERS 4 JUNE 14, 2022
The White Sox evened up the series with a 6-4 win in game 2. The White Sox broke a 1-1 tie with 2 runs in the 7th. Yasmani Grandal homered twice for the Sox. Jose Abreu and Eloy Jimenez also homered. Miguel Cabrera and Riley Greene homered for the Tigers.

Michael Pineda, Michael Fulmer, and Kyle Funkhouser combined on a 3 hitter, as the Tigers won the rubber game of the series, 4-0. Pineda went the first 7 innings, earning his 4th win of the season. Miguel Cabrera homered, and drove in two, and Jeimer Candelario also homered for the Tigers.

TIGERS 5 BLUE JAYS 4 JUNE 10, 2022
The Tigers snatched victory from the jaws of defeat Friday night, scoring 3 in the bottom of the 9th, to stun the Blue Jays 5-4. Akil Baddoo, Jonathan Schoop, and Miguel Cabrera had RBI singles in the 9th. Baddoo drove in 2 runs in the game.
BLUE JAYS 6 TIGERS 5 JUNE 11, 2022
The Blue Jays snapped the Tiger's 10 game win streak with a 605 win on Saturday. Teoscar Hernanded had a pair of home runs for the Blue Jays. Jeimer Candelario (9), Javier Baez (16) and Miguel Cabrera (15) homered for the Tigers. Wily Peralta (2-2) took the loss in relief for Detroit.
TIGERS 7 BLUE JAYS 6 JUNE 12, 2022
The Tigers took the rubber game of the three game series, but it wasn't easy. Detroit jumped out to a 7-2 lead after six innings, but the Blue Jays scored 4 in the top of the 8th, to cut it to a one run game. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Matt Chapman, and Teoscar Hernandez went back to back to back in the inning. The Tigers got home runs from Kyle Dutcher (12), Spencer Torkelson (16), and Jonathan Schoop (9). Dutcher led the game off with a home run, and Tork and Schoop went back to back in the 4th. Casey Mize earned his 11th win of the season.

Austin Meadows had a pair of homers, the second of which broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the 8th, and drove in 4, as the Tigers beat the Yankees 7-5. Victor Reyes also had a pair of RBI for Detroit. Aaron Hicks had a pair of RBI for the Yankees.

The Tigers scored three in the top of the first, and never looked back, beating the Yankees 7-1. Javier Baez and Jeimer Candelario had a pair of RBI each to pace the Tigers. Austin Meadows homered for the second straight game. Eduardo Rodriguez earned his 11th win of the season.

Casey Mize, Joe Jimenez, Andrew Chafin, and Michael Fulmer combined to shut out the Yankees 5-0. Mize went the first 7, allowing 7 hits, while striking out 9. Fulmer earned his 6th save of the season. Spencer Torkelson and Riley Greene homered for the Tigers.

PINEDA EXPECTED TO START FRIDAY
Manager A.J. Hinch said that starter Michael Pineda will not need a rehab assignment, and will start Friday at home against the Blue Jays. Beau Brieske will almost certainly be sent back to Toledo when Pineda returns. Pineda has missed two starts with an inflamed hip, but has been throwing the last few days.
