NOT true. The demo code will not be active til the PSN store updates because Sony's store server still has to host this demo although it will not actually be available through the store. Same thing happened with other codes I've had, that's why they choose the day the PSN Store updates to have the codes activate.
Either way, I was still trying since 12aEST - LOL. I was hoping they have the ability to just stage this demo so it could activate at that time but even as of this writing, the code is still not working.
